Advanced Open Water Diver Course
For additional knowledge and skills or next step to the Open Water Diver certification.
BENEFITS :
The course helps you increase your confidence, experience and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is a great way to get more dives under your current level while continuing to learn under the supervision of the PADI instructor. This course builds on what you’ve learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new diving activities and new ways to have fun in scuba diving.
Performance Requirements:
- Complete the Five Adventures Dives including Deep and Underwater Navigation.
- Complete the Five Knowledge Reviews for the completed Adventure Dives.
- Night Dive will be optional depending on the local laws.
Prerequisites:
- Certified as PADI Open Water Diver, PADI Junior Open Water Diver, or equivalent
- Must be at least 10 years old to participate in these Adventure Dives: Altitude, AWARE - Fish ID, Boat, Digital Underwater Photography, Dry Suit, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Naturalist, Underwater Navigation, Underwater Photography and Underwater Videography. Note: 10 and 11-year-old divers may earn a Junior Adventure Diver certification.
- Must be at least 12 years old to participate in all other Adventure Dives, except the Enriched Air Adventure Dive. Note: 12-14 year old divers may earn a Junior Adventure Diver or Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
- Must be at least 15 years old to participate in the Enriched Air Adventure Dive.
Dive Equipment :
- SCUBA equipment (Optional including a personal dive computer)
- Divers signaling device
- Visual signaling device ( Optional)
- Deluxe Data Carrier Slate
- For the Night Dive, each diver needs an underwater light, backup underwater light, as well as a marker light.
Duration :
- 5 dives in 2 days – deep dive will be a boat dive. OR Shore Dive..
Location :
- Three Adventure Dives can be done in Halfmoon Beach, Azizyah, Dhahran or Red Sea Jeddah.
